Johnny Reggae Rub Foundation - Album Trouble

Dirty Reggae scorcher, dancable ska tunes and damn good hooklines! TROUBLE is the second studio album of Johnny Reggae Rub Foundation arranged, recorded and produced by Johnny Ska. Twelve hard grooving songs that speak of energy, anger, mindset, power, good and bad forces and the overall question how we deal with the current changes in our everyday life.

After the release of this album Johnny Ska decided to take the inevitable next step and open up The Foundation Room as recording studio for other bands and musicians as well. Since the end of 2020 The Foundation Room can be booked for recording, mixing and producing music.

Die Stadtrevue ist ein Monatsmagazin für Köln. Verlegerisch und journalistisch unabhängig berichtet sie seit über 40 Jahren darüber, was in Köln passiert und was die Stadt politisch und kulturell bewegt. Seit 2020 gibt's die Stadtrevue auch im monatlichen Podcast mit Hintergründen zur Titelstory und weiteren aktuellen Themen und Interviews. Seit 2021 betreut Chrissy Reggae die Postproduktion des Stadtrevue Podcast im Foundation Room.

Bronze in Peking, Silber in London und Gold in Rio de Janeiro - eine beeindruckende Erfolgsgeschichte. Mit Magic Fox und Constantin Herrmann sprach der Turner über Trainingsroutinen und Fokus, Mentaltraining und sportliche Höchstleistung, eisernen Willen, mentale Stärke und die Erfüllung des eigenen Lebensziels.
The Song Shut Up is the first single from Johnny Reggae Rub Foundation's second studio album TROUBLE, which was released february 2020. Los-Placebos_Rocksteady-Rollercoaster @ The Foundation Room

Rocksteady Rollercoaster is the fourth studio album of the eight-person “Ruhrpottska” formation Los Placebos. With incredible 25 years of band history these guys are still able to make you dance.

The new album impresses as usual with powerful brass sections, a lot of pop appeal, a bit of punk and soul as well as a touch of jazz.

At The Foundation Room Johnny Ska and Chrissy Reggae recorded and produced the vocals of singer Carsten, all backing vocals and brass sections for Rocksteady Rollercoaster, which is out on Sunny Bastards.

Was für ein Tag für unseren bekennenden Fußball-Fan Johnny Ska! Gleich zwei großartige Fußballer im Gespräch: Weltfußballer und vierfacher Champions League Sieger Toni Kroos und sein Bruder Felix Kroos, Bundesliga-Aufsteiger und Fan-Liebling. Die Brüder sprachen mit Magic Fox & Constantin Herrmann für GQ – NICE AM STIL BODY&CARE über Fitness-Routinen, Yoga und Muckibude, über graue Haare, männliche Düfte, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kloppo und natürlich über Fußball.

Tobias Bauckhage, Co-Founder & CEO von Studio Bummens, unserem Partnerstudio in Berlin war bei uns zu Besuch im Foundation Room. Für den neuen Podcast „GQ – NICE AM STIL“ haben wir Aufnahmen für die Formate BODY&CARE und CARS gemacht.

Matthias Malmedy at The Foundation Room
Matthias Malmedie ist Fernsehmoderator und Redakteur verschiedener Motorsportformate, zudem bekennender Autoliebhaber. Seit 2001 ist er selbst als Rennfahrer aktiv und hat u.a. an diversen 24-Stunden-Rennen auf dem Nürburgring teilgenommen. Als Host für das GQ – NICE AM STIL Format CARS haben wir mit ihm mehrere Episoden mit interessanten Gästen wie Walter Röhrl, Susie Wolff und Nico Hülkenberg produziert.
Johnny Ska made a remix of the song HOME by Austrian songwriter and musician AVEC as part of the Lewitt Music Challenge. Additional backing vocals, a tight new bassline and some warm strings round up the new arrangement of the pop song. The mix on the analog equipment of The Foundation Room gives the tune a warm and intimate finish.

Magic Fox aka Daniel Fuchs ist als international bekannter Influencer für Fashion, Fitness und Lifestyle genau der Richtige als Host für den GQ - NICE AM STIL Podcast der Sparte BODY&CARE. Wir haben 2020 mehrere Folgen mit ihm und namhaften Gästen wie Toni und Felix Kroos aufgezeichnet.
Rennfahrer-Legende Walter Röhrl war zu Gast bei uns im Foundation Room für die Produktion des Podcast GQ - NICE AM STIL CARS. Der zweifache Rallye-Weltmeister (1980 & 1982) und erfolgreichste deutsche Rennfahrer bei zahlreichen 24-Stunden-Rennen erzählt farbenfrohe Anekdoten aus Leben und Karriere, mal amüsant, mal nachdenklich und immer spannend. Wir hatten viel Spaß an dem rasanten Talk vom “Rallye-Fahrer des Jahrhunderts” mit Matthias Malmedie.
